Janelle Allison is currently a doctoral student in behavior analysis at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). She received her M.S. in applied behavior analysis from FIT in 2010. Janelle has been providing supervision with Rethink Autism since 2012. In addition to her work with Rethink Autism, Janelle also provides parent training and behavior management services to at risk families and families involved in the dependency court and foster care systems throughout Florida’s Brevard County. Janelle’s past work experience includes early intervention program case management, the assessment and treatment of severe behavior, and the assessment and treatment of mealtime related problem behavior. Janelle has co-authored 6 research articles. Her research interests include the assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders, severe behavior disorders, and child compliance.

Elizabeth Fong has over a decade of experience in the fields of behavioral health, education and management. Her educational background is in clinical and counseling psychology and applied behavior analysis. She is currently a PhD student studying Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensics, as well as the CEO for Trinity Behavior Consulting, LLC, a supervisor at rethink autism, and the founder and Executive Director of Multicultural Alliance of Behavior Analysts (MultiABA) which is a special interest group of ABA:I. In addition, Ms Hughes Fong is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and licensed as a Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania, a trainer in the Pennsylvania Bureau of Autism’s Functional Behavior Analysis training, and has received training certificates in the area of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy Childhood Traumatic Grief. In addition, she received her level one certification in Pivotal Response Training and Gottman Couples Therapy. Angela Nelson was Rethink’s first Director of Professional Services, starting with the company back in 2011. She currently conducts trainings for educators, therapists, and administrators on not only how to utilize Rethink’s platform but also provides consultation and support on how to implement a robust platform such as Rethink in both small and large school districts. Angela provides curriculum content and collaborates on the advancements of the Rethink platform. Additionally, she provides parent consultation and support to individual families using Rethink with their own children. She also conducts supervision for candidates pursuing their board certification in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Prior to joining the company, she worked as the Senior Manager of an Early and Intermediate Intervention agency in Los Angeles, where she conducted functional behavior assessments, developed behavioral plans, consulted with schools to develop classroom strategies and goals, oversaw home therapy programming, and conducted parent training. Angela has also supported children and adults, one-on-one, with a variety of disabilities in their classrooms, homes, and communities for many years. She has created multiple therapeutic support groups, including a group for adults with Asperger’s Syndrome and a group for siblings of children with autism. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with expertise in autism, behavior assessment/planning, Discrete Trial Teaching, and self-monitoring strategies. Angela holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling from California State University, Northridge and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA. Aside from interests in Applied Behavior Analysis, Angela enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, going to the beach, and playing sports.

Sorah Stein, MA, BCBA, CSE is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (www.BACB.com) and an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator (www.AASECT.org). Sorah has 19+ years of professional experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities, and is one of the very few dually certified BCBA and CSE in the world, focusing her efforts on providing sexuality education to individuals with developmental disabilities via behavior analytic methods. Sorah is also mom to 3 children, the oldest of whom has Autism.
Sorah has extensive experience working with individuals and teams to conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments working with both adults and children with a variety of developmental disabilities. Sorah has worked in the medicaid waiver program, residential and day services, and within a state funded consultation program. She continues to work with children with autism, within the medicaid waiver program and teaches at Indiana University South Bend. Sorah has experience with mentoring others in completing and writing reports for thorough functional behavior assessments, resulting in effective behavior support plans.

Dr. Francine Baffa is a certified special education teacher and board certified behavior analyst. She has consulted with school districts as an educational and behavioral consultant to develop effective programming strategies for students in direct instructional settings as well as inclusive environments. She has extensive experience in the areas of self-determination and measureable objectives for outcomes; Dr. Baffa has developed programming with emphasis in the areas of social skills and generalization. Dr. Baffa currently teaches graduate courses in autism and behavior analysis; additionally she has developed course sequence for both master level and undegraduate programs that meet the BACB 4th edition task list. She supervises international and domestic candidates who are studying to become BCBA and BCaBA’s. Dr. Baffa works closely with colleagues developing multi-cultural approaches to service and support of this disability. She has expanded her practice internationally through her consulting service in India and supervision of BCBA candidates globally. Her areas of interest are applications of applied behavior analysis in the areas of severe depression and substance use disorder as well as re-teaching activities of daily living to those patients with Alzheimer’s.

Dr. Mae Barker is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) with over fifteen years of experience in the field of autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She earned her doctorate in the Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences from The Florida State University in 2005 and obtained board certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2002. Her past professional experiences include Clinical Director of the UF-Jacksonville Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, in-home behavior therapist, residential care staff, and school-based behavioral specialist. Since 2005, Dr. Barker has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Florida, teaching graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism. She has published research on child safety, contributed to the professional literature on inclusion of students with autism, and developed a training CD to help teach parents how to play with their young children with ASD. At present, she provides ABA services to children, families, and school personnel through Florida Autism Consultants and Educational Services and Parent Training Solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters, running, reading, and playing in the dirt.
